I’ve had a great career since graduating from The Centre For Arts and Technology. In many ways the program did all it could to set me up for success. The foundations of the program I still lean on today with my career. Currently I’m a Senior Character Artist. I started my career over 10 years ago at Disney Interactive fresh out of school where I was given the great opportunity to work on Disney IP’s and put everything I learned from CATO to the test. The Centre For Art and Technology program instructors helped me understand the fundamentals of an industry pipeline, Concepting, Modeling, Texturing, Rigging and Animation. With this knowledge it really helped make me a valuable asset in the workplace and propelled me to success. I have been very fortunate to work on really amazing projects. A few I can’t talk about yet, but one in particular has been extra special for me. I was able to work on Sonic The Hedgehog! Playing Sonic with my older cousins was a fond memory of mine, it’s what really began my interest in art and games. Sonic was the first character that I could draw perfectly from the top of my head. Thankfully with the help of CATO’s 3D Animation program I was able to combine all my passions and create a successful career and achieve my personal childhood dreams and my adult career goals.
